Liz Warner on how to be an effective philanthropist

Published on: 26th March, 2021

Liz Warner created her Run To Reach campaign to raise tens of thousands of dollars for women’s empowerment organizations across the globe as she raced 30 Marathons, in 30 Countries, before turning 30.

This journey culminated in her finding herself in Yemen as the world shut down and needing to revisit how to finish this journey…she found the answer in creating a global virtual event that blasted her fundraising out of the water.

Most of the time, you’ll hear interviews with Liz focus on the running - and we could have definitely chatted about running all day - but I wanted to delve into her journey in philanthropy.

  • How to select the organisations to support.
  • The mistakes she made, lessons she learnt along the way.
  • And the emotional ups and downs of fundraising.

Giving should be easy.

Raising money for amazing people should be easy.

And it can be.

That’s exactly what this show is here to do - offer the insight, support and information to make your impact journey easier and more accessible.
